Navajo Weaving Traditions Workshop

Winter 2024 Session:January 29th - February 23rd

Join us as Christine Curtis, Diné Master Weaver will share their insights into Diné weaving culture, how to warp the loom, share traditional stories and histories, and assist participants in weaving their first rug!

We encourage absolute beginners to sign-up and learn!

Winter 2024 Session:
January 29th - February 23rd
Time: 9 am - 3 pm

Where: Main Library, Navajo Nation Library — Hwy 264 and Postal Loop Road, Window Rock, AZ 86515

Looms, tools, and materials will be provided. The workshop is limited to 10 participants per session. If selected, participants will NOT pay any fees. The Workshop is an IN-PERSON only.

Our goal is to empower all Diné community members through literacy, technology, creativity, and personal and intellectual growth that will support and encourage multi-generational learners.
